Happy Easter

I'd like to say we had a nice quiet Easter, but it actually was quite crazy. On Saturday we went to the park, wind and all, with Mike's family. We had lunch and did an egg hunt for the kids. Sunday was hard because we have 9:00 church, so instead of hiding eggs, we asked the Easter Bunny to hide the kids baskets instead. It worked out pretty good. I bought all the stuff and hard boiled a bunch of eggs, but the coloring never happened. Oh well, there's always next year. I ended up spending all afternoon in the kitchen making treats and dinner. We had the traditional ham, despite the fact that I don't like ham. But my family does, so I just get rolls. But that's okay. The sacrifices moms make! Anyway, with all the Easter stuff, we had to remind the kids that we were celebrating the Savior's resurrection and life. Candy and eggs are good, but it's more important to focus on our Savior. I think next year we'll try to do that a little better.

Picture Perfect

Matthew has been taking lots of pictures lately. He gets an idea for a picture in his head and then takes a pretty good picture. Here are a couple of shots he took this week. I think we have a future photographer in our family!

Boy Vs. Girl

I haven't posted in a while because to be honest, it's been pretty boring around here! Today Olivia and her cousin Sydney decided to dance to "Bella Bella Dancerella." Jeffrey just wanted to join in and dance and dress up too. Notice in the first picture that his shirt is a picture of a tough guy with SICK muscles. Then he wanted to dress up on top of it! I love how kids do whatever they want, without stereotypes! But trust me, he is all boy!
