Happy Easter

I'd like to say we had a nice quiet Easter, but it actually was quite crazy. On Saturday we went to the park, wind and all, with Mike's family. We had lunch and did an egg hunt for the kids. Sunday was hard because we have 9:00 church, so instead of hiding eggs, we asked the Easter Bunny to hide the kids baskets instead. It worked out pretty good. I bought all the stuff and hard boiled a bunch of eggs, but the coloring never happened. Oh well, there's always next year. I ended up spending all afternoon in the kitchen making treats and dinner. We had the traditional ham, despite the fact that I don't like ham. But my family does, so I just get rolls. But that's okay. The sacrifices moms make! Anyway, with all the Easter stuff, we had to remind the kids that we were celebrating the Savior's resurrection and life. Candy and eggs are good, but it's more important to focus on our Savior. I think next year we'll try to do that a little better.

Hey, your kids are so cute. Don't you love this blogging stuff. It is such a fun way to keep in touch and to see the lives of everyone's families.
