Who Woulda Thought?!?

We actually found something fun and FREE for the whole family to do in Vegas! Suprise! Saturday we went to The District at Green Valley Ranch. On Friday and Saturday nights they show movies outside by the carousel. It was a great night, the weather was perfect, and it was way fun! They have free popcorn and we just brought water and candy. We sat on blankets and watched the movie. The kids had fun and it was even fun for Mike and I. We'll definately have to do it again while the weather is nice. Check it out!

Hello!

This is Nate Curtis. I saw that Becky posted on our family blog. I just spent about an hour catching up on your family. I am so glad that you guys are doing so well.

Mike and I were great friends when we were kids, boy did we ever get into trouble together.

One of my earliest memories was being very upset the first day of Kindergarten at Fay Galloway, I was very frightened about being left alone in such a big place with so many new kids.

I started to cry and then Mike came in, he and I must have already been friends at that point from church and possibly preschool, because the minute he came in, everything was instantly better for me.

If I remember right there were 5 boys in Track B for our grade at Fay Galloway. Me, Mike, R-Jay Wilde, Joe Litera, and Bo Wilsdorf. We were in a class of 28girls, but we were the only boys (there might have been a few more that came and went over the years).

Mike was always the most popular with the ladies, which, in 5th grade was just fine for the rest of us.

My first sleepover party was at Mikes house for one of his birthdays which I if I remember right was either halloween or October 30th.

Man, did we ever get in trouble together. I still remember the day I found out that Mike was no longer going to be in school with us. That was a very sad day indeed.

Thank you for getting in touch with me again. We are up in Henderson often, my grandmother and aunt are still there. We would love to get together for an afternoon, or take you guys out to dinner if we can all find babysitters.

Cute pictures! That sounds like a Henderson Parks & Rec thing. Is it? Let me tell you Henderson Parks & Rec is wonderful! We have to spend double for activities here that are half as good as the ones in Henderson. I miss it a lot!
